certified GLEEK! :)

As previously announced on my FB wall, I can now say that i am now part of the GLEEK community, hahaha.. 

The 1st episode for season 2 was aired here in Sydney last Wednesday, and it was fun seeing the gang again (especially Kurt). But while I was proud to see Charice holding her own against Lea Michele, it was a so-so episode for me. I wasn't blown away by the premise of things to come and I didn't enjoy the performances that much. Anyway, next week is about Brittany which is a character I like and Heather (the actress who plays the part) is such a great dancer! I haven't really heard her sing yet kse i don't think she has been given a solo part to sing as of yet, but I believe it'll be her time to shine next week.. Can't wait!

Anyway, going back to my GLEEK status, I just want to share a couple of things about the 1st season:

 My favorite episodes are Ep1 (Pilot), Ep15 (Power of Madonna) & Ep22 (Journey). I loved the pilot episode, i think it had all the necessary ingredients to make people want to keep watching it. Plus, Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester is just perfect casting. I also loved the Madonna tribute because i'm such a big fan of the Madonna of the 80s and 90s. The last episode of the season was not a cliffhanger, but it did give a promise of more sue vs will battles to come, and that in itself is something worth looking forward to.. I would also like to say that while there's no particular episode, all scenes involving Kurt and his dad are always good..

Ep6: It's my life/Confessions II, Halo/Walking on sunshine, No air

Ep9: Defying gravity (my most favorite yet!)

Ep15: Express yourself, Like a prayer

Ep16: Home (comes at a close 2nd.. Kristin Chenoweth was amazing!)

Ep17: Run Joey Run (for the funny and awful "music video")

Ep19: I dream a dream, Dream on (Doogie Howser, hell yeah! but seriously, Neil Patrick Harris is just awe - wait for it - some! maybe not as bryan ryan, but certainly as barney stinson, oops, different show, hehe..),

Ep22: Bohemian Rhapsody, To sir with love, Over the rainbow

I was a bit disappointed kse I didn't particularly enjoy the show's version of Bad Romance and Poker Face.. It made me a bit sad kse I was really looking forward to hearing/seeing them sing/perform Gaga's songs.. :(
